What you can engrave
Engraving availability depends on the item and surface area. If an item is eligible, you’ll see Engraving as an option on the product page (or at checkout, if offered).
Common engravable items:
- Rings (inner band or outer, depending on design)
- Pendant back plates
- Bracelets / bangles
- Charms
- ID-style jewelry
Engraving styles
Choose the look that fits your piece:
1) Classic (Recommended)
Clean, timeless lettering for names and dates.
2) Script
Elegant, flowing text best for short names/phrases.
3) Monogram / Initials
Perfect for 1–3 characters.
If your product page offers font choices, select there. If not, we’ll use our Classic font by default.
Character limits (general guide)
Limits vary by item and size. If you’re unsure, keep it short—our team will confirm if adjustments are needed.
- Rings (inside): up to 20 characters (including spaces)
- Rings (outside): up to 12 characters
- Pendants / plates: up to 25 characters
- Bracelets / bangles: up to 30 characters
- Charms: up to 8–12 characters
What you can engrave
- Names: “Sofia”
- Initials: “A.M.”
- Dates: “12.29.2025”
- Short phrases: “Forever & Always”
- Coordinates (if space allows): “43.6532° N, 79.3832° W”
- Roman numerals: “MMXXV”
How to order engraving
- Select an engravable item and choose the Engraving option (if available).
- Enter your text exactly as you want it engraved (capitalization, punctuation, spacing).
- Add to cart and check out.
- We engrave, quality-check, and ship.
If your item doesn’t show an engraving option, contact us with:
- The product link (or name)
- Your preferred engraving text
- Where you’d like it placed (if you have a preference)
Personalization tips
- Double-check spelling—engraving is produced exactly as submitted.
- For rings, consider: Name + date or initials + symbol.
- Shorter text = larger, clearer engraving.
- Avoid long messages on small surfaces.
Processing time
Engraved items typically require additional processing time before shipping. Timing can vary by season and order volume.
Returns & cancellations (engraved items)
Because engraving is custom:
- Engraved items are final sale and can’t be returned or exchanged (unless defective).
- If you need to change engraving text, contact us immediately after placing your order. If production has started, changes may not be possible.
Quality guarantee
We inspect each engraving for alignment and legibility. If your item arrives with an engraving defect, contact us and we’ll make it right.
